My strong communication and interpersonal skills enable me to provide quality service through development of client relationships that promotes meaningful discussions resulting in my gaining a sound understanding of clients’ needs in order to articulate a client’s position and therefore achieve client objectives.

Experience / Qualifications

Bachelor of Architecture from Melbourne University, Bachelor and Master of Arts from Monash University, LLB from Murdoch University and Master of Laws from Melbourne University.

Director of Paul Wellington Architects since 1980 with commissions for residential and commercial work in Melbourne and Perth including new housing and renovations, industrial buildings, retail outlets and offices. Royal Australian Institute of Architects Architecture Award 2011. Formed Paul Wellington architect solicitor arbitrator in 2007.

Life Fellow of the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and a graded arbitrator and accredited mediator with the Resolution Institute (formerly the Institute of Arbitrators and Mediators Australia).

A registered architect in WA and a certified legal practitioner of the Supreme Court of WA (solicitor) since 2008.

State Ministerial appointment on the Building Regulations Advisory Committee, the Municipal Building Surveyors Qualification Committee, the Architects Board of WA and the Steering Committee for the proposed Building Act WA.

Past lecturer and tutor in design School of Architecture Melbourne University, sessional lecturer in construction law and dispute resolution at Curtin University, University of Notre Dame Fremantle and School of Law Murdoch University.
