Paul Wellington is a practitioner in construction dispute resolution acting as an arbitrator, mediator and adjudicator. Disputes have included client/architect agreements, defects in building work and interpretation issues under standard form contracts. He has provided expert opinion for solicitors on matters before the District, Supreme Courts and arbitration on consultancy agreements, construction contracts and copyright.

Paul has previously been a solicitor in WA specialising in construction disputes and a lecturer in alternative dispute resolution as part of the Graduate Law Program, University Notre Dame in Building & Construction Law from 2006 until 2008, and a lecturer in Mediation and Construction Law, at the School of Law at Murdoch University from 2008 to 2009. Paul currently lectures in construction law at the law school at Curtin University and at Curtin University’s Bachelor of Applied Science (Construction Management).
